We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful holiday cottage. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The cottage is charming, cosy, and thoughtfully decorated, with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing break. The location is perfect .peaceful and picturesque, Waking up to the quiet countryside and enjoying our morning coffee outside was a real highlight.Inside, the cottage was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the little touches throughout made it feel extra special. It’s clear that a lot of care and attention has gone into making this a lovely place for guests to stay. The hosts were fantastic – friendly, welcoming, and very helpful, while still giving us plenty of privacy to enjoy our holiday. We truly had a fantastic time and would absolutely recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. We’re already looking forward to coming back again

This cottage is exemplary. We have stayed in many UK holiday homes, and everything about Beacon Cottage made it one of the best, a wonderful family holiday. Close to the Lakes, for plenty of hiking, major towns like Penrith, Carlisle, Keswick. Other attractions like Hadrians Wall aren't far too. You will need a car, but this means the cottage is the ideal retreat after a day's exploring. The views from the cottage are amazing, including the mountains and fells of the Lake District, with sheep and cows in the adjacent fields. The gardens are huge and lovely to walk around with coffee in hand. Ruth and Brandon offer a warm welcome, plenty of homemade treats, and veg from their garden. No expense has been spared on the cottage itself, the attention to detail shows the pride in the property, and it was a pleasure to spend time in, even on one really rainy day! Absolutely recommend and will return.
