We stayed in the Stable at Mount farm over the Christmas period, we had a fantastic time, the cottage is spacious and charming and the Emus walking by as we sat in the Hot tub was a unique experience. The owners were friendly and accommodating, adding to a wonderful family holiday.

We had an amazing stay at Mount Farm! This was my kids first experience on a farm, and they absolutely loved it. Judith was wonderfully welcoming and took the time to show us around, the kids got to feed the pygmy goats, horses, and sheep, which made their day. The emus, Charles and Camilla, were an unexpected and delightful bonus! My daughter especially adored the three horses, Santi in particular, while the dogs Nelly and Jes were so friendly and full of character. We stayed in The Stable, which had stunning views of the farm on both sides. It was incredibly peaceful, and the hot tub made for the perfect way to relax after our long walks in the Lake District. We will definitely be coming back, a truly memorable stay for the whole family.
