Just returned from a relaxing week's break in The Barn Owl with my family (6 adults and an infant) The Barn was absolutely immaculate, and rammed with everything you could want for a holiday in that part of Cumbria, including the biggest TV you can wish for in the living area 😀 If you crave a remote "home from home" holiday, with access to a friendly village pub (good 20 minute walk along the cycle path) and stunning views over the Solway, then this is the place. My family enjoyed morning runs and walks, as well as evening barbeques, for our holiday. We managed a couple of days out in the Lakes, which took about an hour to drive, to get to Keswick, which was gorgeous. And also a great visit to Dodd Wood, for a hill climb and walk through the forest. Only 1 thing that could be improved upon, would be a slightly bigger dining table inside, for all of us to sit comfortably around, however we sat very comfortably outside for the majority of the time. Thank you Kelly, for your attention to detail and friendly visit whilst we were there. 🥰
