When you pull up you will be blown away, the Coach House is out of this world. Comfortable, roomy, everything you need for a perfect holiday. The beds were comfortable and the sofa was too. The biggest niggle we had was the intermittent wifi. The house is advertised as having wifi but it is very hit and miss. More miss than hit. If you want to relax and unwind then this is the perfect place for you but if you need the internet then think twice.

This is a lovely traditional house in a great setting in the countryside yet not far from towns and villages. It is easily reached from the M6 and from the city of Carlisle with all it has to offer. It is not far from the Solway, Hadrian's Wall or the Lake District so there is plenty to explore. The quality of the furniture is lovely and there is a fabulous bathroom/ shower room with the added advantage of a downstairs toilet. Our only complaint was that the sitting room was a bit cool until we used the gas fire to heat it. We would certainly come here again

Location was very good for us near a friend we wished to see and not far from Carlisle for supplies . Plenty of locations to visit in Cumbria and Scotland also walks for our dog to explore. The house could do with a larger fridge freezer to cut down on visits to get supplies ? kitchen cabinets need attention ! tired and wonky ! frying pan needs scrapping ? a smaller pan just to fry and egg would do ! I took our air fryer a double stack Ninja which was used every day as at home so a good addition maybe !
