Huge, mainly residential site. Residents very unfriendly and show clear dislike of holidaymakers. Caravan large and spotless. Furniture a bit low for us. Twin bedroom very cramped. Nothing on site and only one shop in village.

Booked a last minute long weekend here for the August Bank Holiday. The price was considerably cheaper (on sale too) than other places and we only needed a base to sleep really, so seemed an ideal option. In all honesty if we'd have paid full price I'd have been disappointed. The site looks to be mainly privately own vans/lodges of various ages/conditions. I think the same can be said for the vans advertised for hire, it might be pot luck what you receive. The photos advertised are *not* representative of what we stayed in. Our van was tired, dirty windows, stain marks on the furniture/carpet, grease marks on the hob, bedding that's bobbled and pillowcases that had frayed at the seams. It was also advertised as no pets but had a musty smell of wet dog? We popped to Tesco for hand soap on arrival and I must admit I bought a bottle of kitchen cleaner and fabreze too (other than washing up liquid, no cleaning products in van).Overall we got the no frills we paid for, could just do with a little tlc/deeper cleaning and the advertised photos updating.

Caravan was very clean ,found the stairs to caravan not very sturdy,also found twin bedroom very narrow I sat on the bed when I stood up I banged my head on the cupboard
