We enjoyed our week staying at Station House. The property did the important things well; decent shower, responsive heating that sorted the autumnal chill quickly, effective curtains and blinds in bedrooms and a washing machine with a fast spin. We've stayed in cleaner properties, but it was adequate. Some of the fixtures and fittings weren't high quality, but probably fair for the star rating. We were delighted to see that a microwave was available and it seems that the garden had been tidied since previous reports of it being overgrown. There were some minor maintenance niggles, that I have reported separately to the holiday company. The location was great and designated parking was appreciated. There were a couple of pubs in the village for food. The beach was stunning and only a short (off road) walk from Station House. As noted by other reviewers, the trains were not an issue as they don't run at antisocial hours and are travelling slowly on approach. It's well worth visiting this beautiful and historic part of the country.

Really enjoyed this house there were a couple of things which should be sorted. I could not get the oven to work and the boiler kept losing pressure so every time you ran the water or had a shower you had to re-pressure the boiler.
