Watch Tree Lodge is a newly-built luxury holiday home, offering four guests a fabulous base for adventures across Cumbria and the Lake District. Settled on The Pastures, an esteemed lodge park, on the outskirts of the charming village of Allithwaite and just a mile from the picturesque village of Cartmel, Watch Tree Lodge boasts modern, luxury features including a hot tub, en-suite shower rooms and a bespoke fitted kitchen, accommodating two couples in two bedrooms. Make your way inside this beautiful new property, passing through the well-presented utility area housing the washing machine and tumble dryer, before entering the open-plan living space.

Enjoy making your favourite dishes within the exquisite kitchen with neutral, dark units and fresh timber worktops, home to quality appliances including a gas hob and electric oven, along with two fridges, both with an icebox. Serve up evening meals around the dining table, positioned before a large window to illuminate the space and lit from above by the quirky feature lighting, you can share the best moments of the day over a glass of wine or two. Make yourself comfortable on one of the two sumptuous, grey sofas facing the Smart TV, so you can browse your favourite streaming services and choose the latest release.

Look forward to retiring at the end of the day to one of the fabulous bedrooms, both decorated in the same style, featuring a roomy king-size bed, a Smart TV and a fantastic living flame effect, creating a homely illusion, including sound effects, of a roaring fire! Step into the en-suite shower room to find a fully tiled and sleek space, with a rainfall showerhead for added luxury, underfloor heating, and a de-misting mirror. Each bedroom enjoys its own access out onto the rear decking where you can enjoy a relaxing soak in the hot tub, unwinding on the outdoor seating here with a drink afterwards, or make use of the front decking which boasts furniture for alfresco dining, perfect in summer!

This beautiful area is just on the outskirts of the little village of Allithwaite, home to a local shop and a pub, while the village of Cartmel is just a mile away, thought to be the prettiest village in the Lake District; it is home to charming cobbled streets, traditional pubs and antique shops. Enjoy a day at Cartmel Racecourse, hosting around ten fixtures in the year, or head to the two star Michelin restaurant, L'Enclume, for a special occasion. Pay a visit to the impressive Holker Hall & Gardens, one of the north's best-known historic houses, available to view via tours and home to a café too, and find the fascinating Lakeland Motor Museum nearby too.

Enjoy a day by the sea at the delightful seaside resort of Grange-over-Sands with many diversions to entertain and scenic strolls to take along the promenade. Make exciting memories on Consiton Water at Water Park Lakeland Adventure Centre, or head to Lake Windermere for even more watersports, boat rides and lakeside scenery. A scenic drive will bring you to the likes of South Lakes Safari Zoo, Lake Aquarium, National Trust's Hill Top and Grizedale Forest, home to Go Ape and plenty of thrilling mountain-biking trails. Explore the Lakes to your heart's content before returning to the superb, luxury setting of Watch Tree Lodge.

Allithwaite is a village settled on the southern edge of the Cartmel Peninsula in Cumbria. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, Allithwaite is home to a local shop and a pub. Nearby is the village of Cartmel, said to be the prettiest village in the Lake District, with cobbled streets, antique shops and the Michelin starred restaurant, L'Enclume. Visit the seaside resort of Grange-over-Sands and head into the heart of the Lake District for attractions and incredible walking trails.
