I was kindly given a bucket of cooking apples and some potataes from their garden. Lots of original historical features have been retained in the byre and it is in a very quiet rural setting near Kirby Stephen and Church Brough and with lots of walking opportunities around. I would have liked better lighting for reading but managed by putting the small bedside light on an up ended drawer.
