Note: This cottage has an interconnecting door with Ref 17245 to accommodate 8, and is also next to Ref 17243 to accommodate 13 people in total.
Newbiggin-on-Lune is a small village below the Howgill Fells, set between the Lake District National Park and the Yorkshire Dales, making it an ideal base for exploring both. There is trout fishing in the river Lune nearby, good walking up the fells and easy access to attractions such as the Settle to Carlisle Railway.

What a beautiful area and not so touristy as places nearby. Loved the living area being upstairs with good views of the farm and countryside. Food at the Black Swan in Ravenstonedale was excellent worth the 40 minute walk. House is comfortable, quiet and clean with a great open plan living /cooking area upstairs. Accomodation has easy access to the many trails and walks nearby.
