A large heated conservatory overlooking the garden with plenty of seating for the whole family is just across the courtyard from the kitchen. Hillview is located in the small hamlet of Millness less than 10 minutes’ drive from J36 of the M6 motorway. This makes the cottage easily accessible for both short breaks and longer stays. There is an abundance of walks on the doorstep, including a leisurely stroll along the Lancaster Canal Towpath less than 5 minutes’ away by car. There are many popular cycling routes in the area making it ideal for cycling enthusiasts too.
The town of Kendal is 20 minutes’ away by car and boasts shops, restaurants, cafés, bars and many supermarkets, and Windermere can be reached within 30 minutes’. Hill View is conveniently located to take advantage of both the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales National Parks, you will be spoilt for choice for things to see and do.

My friend and I spent a very enjoyable week in this cottage, a real home from home. Communication with the owner was excellent, the cottage is very well appointed and comfortable. Location is very central for days out in the Lake district, I would highly recommend this cottage
