Beautifully restored and delightful, this peaceful beamed farmhouse (all of white building) sits on the edge of the Lake District, 1 mile from Milnthorpe’s shops, pubs and restaurants. Set within 33 acres of riverside pasture with free fly fishing, local walks, paddling and picnic areas along the river Bela. On the doorstep of the Lake District with Lake Windermere approx 10 miles. Equally the Yorkshire Dales are a 20 minute drive there is a host of attractions for everyone nearby.

We received a warm welcome from Sandra (thank you for the beautiful cake!) at Kiln Green Farmhouse. The house is lovely, peaceful, spacious and well equipped, our family of four had a fantastic break. A lovely home in a beautiful location that is well situated for visiting the South Lakes. We enjoyed our stay here,but not impressed at how many times the owner came to our door with a problem,we wanted piece and quiet not strangers knocking at our door with trivial problems.The area has no footpaths anywhere so we had to go out in our cars to get to places. We like to walk and leave our cars parked up but we found we couldn't do that here.Our party was 6 adults and a baby so walking on the roads was a big problem for us.We did find some lovely places but had to travel by car.The owners spoilt our stay here.We wouldn't stay here again.
