Beautifully restored and delightful, this peaceful beamed farmhouse (all of white building) sits on the edge of the Lake District, 1 mile from Milnthorpe’s shops, pubs and restaurants. Set within 33 acres of riverside pasture with free fly fishing, local walks, paddling and picnic areas along the river Bela. On the doorstep of the Lake District with Lake Windermere approx 10 miles. Equally the Yorkshire Dales are a 20 minute drive there is a host of attractions for everyone nearby.

We had a lovely week staying at this cottage. Great location near the Lakes and Dales for days out walking, wildlife watching, and watersports on the Lakes. Cottage was a great size, well equipped, and with all facilities we required, hosts were very friendly and welcoming (and left us a lovely cake!).
