Foxstones Farm House dates back to the 1600s, originally being one large hall, now functioning as three properties. Formerly a dairy and beef farm, the property has been carefully looked after by the same family for around 90 years; the current owners being the third generation of the same family! A truly special and tranquil place, the owners are opening the doors to holidaymakers to continue to create more lasting memories for others to enjoy! Foxstones Farmhouse provides a comfortable, grand and unforgettable stay! The spacious master bedroom benefits from a king-size bed, leather couch & ample storage. Soak up the sun through the double windows and enjoy the peace of the countryside. The second bedroom has two single beds, with beams and mullion windows, with views of the countryside at the rear of the property. A further third bedroom overlooking the front garden has a single bed, chest of drawers, storage unit and bedroom chair.
Situated in the quiet village of Cliviger, near Burnley Lancashire. Ideally located to visit the whole of the North West of England, with countryside, bustling cities and the seaside, all accessible within an hour. The village has a hairdresser, a shop, a petrol station, pubs and much more! Down the stone steps, you are greeted by a cosy but spacious front garden with a table and chairs, which is the perfect area for BBQs or a quiet breakfast while planning your day’s activities. Entering the property you will find a tiled porch and grand entrance hallway. To the right you will find a spacious living area containing everything you need for a relaxing break. There is a three-seat sofa, rocking chair and armchairs, TV and dining table.
Through the door, you will find a separate utility room housing a washer and dryer, with a door leading to the rear enclosed courtyard. Through the modern kitchen, there is a dining table seating five where you can enjoy your home-cooked meal or relax and experience a local takeaway. The kitchen is provided with everything you need to make you feel at home. Fully equipped for anything, the property benefits from a large electric aga which the owners would use as a source of heating in the winter! The property benefits from a downstairs bathroom with a shower cubicle, low-level WC and pedestal wash hand basin.
Wander upstairs where you will find the spacious master bedroom, a perfect place where you can unwind from a fabulous day of exploring. The second bedroom consists of two single beds and the third bedroom has another single bed. A traditional and spacious house bathroom benefitting a large corner bath, low-level toilet, bidet and sink.

We all had a lovely time at Foxtone Farm House. The host made us feel very welcomed and facilitated amenities thoughtfully. We will definitely coming back again.

Our whole family really enjoyed our stay. The rural setting, with the peace and quiet and the views were outstanding. The accommodation was amazing, rustic style with all the modern amenities that you need. Everything you need for a short break was provided by the host. Even down to the duck eggs which were delicious. Would definitely like to return sometime in the future.

When we arrived its was very easy to gain access without help. There are some stone steps the descend to gain access to the house with railings on either side, if you struggle badly with mobility then it wouldnt be suitable.The farm house is very big and roomy, the beds are really comfortable with nice bedding and pillows.The gardens front and back were safe and secure for my dog and she loved it there too.Nice country walks on your doorstep and a dog friendly pub within 10 mins of walking. There was a generous welcome package on arrival, i loved using the aga for cooking on, the kitchen is well stocked with utensils etc.The hall cupbaord was stocked with games which we enjoyed playing in the evening and having a welcome rest from tv. I would love to live in a house like this!The owner was easy to contact by phone incase we had any problems, but we didnt.
