Guests say

Guests have found the cottage in Lytham St. Annes to be a warm, welcoming, and clean retreat with superb equipment. Its proximity to local attractions, including pubs, the promenade, and Lytham town centre, is highly appreciated. While some guests mentioned minor issues, the overall experience has been positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

The property consistently receives high praise for its cleanliness, with multiple reviews highlighting its well-maintained and tidy condition. Only one mention of dog waste in the courtyard from a previous stay slightly impacts the score.

The location is generally seen as excellent, close to the promenade, local amenities, and dog-friendly areas. However, some guests noted the busy road and associated noise, as well as concerns about pet safety due to the open gate.

Comfort is well-regarded, with compliments on the comfy beds and private outdoor space. Criticisms include uncomfortable sofas, steep stairs, and a lack of mirrors in bedrooms, which slightly lower the score.

Facilities are generally celebrated for being comprehensive and well-equipped, including a games basket and modern bathrooms. Some guests experienced issues with internet connectivity and the fire in the living room, which are noted for improvement.

While many reviews express gratitude towards the property owner and appreciate the overall experience, there is no specific mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches that could be evaluated under this category.

We took our two dogs and they loved it. Little courtyard for letting them have toilet breaks and some great walks very close by. Easy to park on the front and walking distance from a dog friendly pub that serves food. My only negative which is trivial and lack of organization on my part. I forgot to pack my shower gel and hand cream. It would have been nice if some was available during our stay. I would definitely stay again and my mum enjoyed it, having the two bathrooms was a bonus.

The property was very clean comfortable and in an excellent location our only criticism is the creaky floorboards in the bathroom which were annoying at night otherwise our stay was very enjoyable

The bed was so comfortable I wanted to take it home with me and the quilt was duck feather and down which was so beautifully warm. I have also never seen a bath like that, it had a proper shower attachment to wash your hair, quite luxurious! The shower was clearly new and looked beautiful. The kitchen was very well equipped and I wanted for nothing there at all. It was about 50 - 75 yards to the boardwalk, perfect for my walks with Coco my dog in either direction to the windmill on Lytham Green or Fairhaven Lake. The shops were also incredibly welcoming with a dog, you are not a second class citizen in Lytham! Booths is an upmarket grocery store - the butcher and the fresh produce was to die for. The only downside to the property was that the neighbouring property has rights of way across the garden and the entrance gate is onto the main road which is very busy.
