Situated just off the high street of the Cumbrian village of Kirkby Lonsdale is Lunesdale, a charming terrace cottage. Perfect for a small family, a couple, or even a solo traveller, the cottage is near a children's park and local amenities are just a stone's throw away, while inside you can find all the home comforts you need for a self-catering break. Arriving at the cottage, permit parking allows you to unload with ease, before making your way inside to start your holiday. Here, find the sitting room fit with Chesterfield armchairs, a Smart TV and a toasty woodburning stove, certain to entice you after a day of walking. From here, make your way to the kitchen/diner to find a well-equipped cooking space and a dining table to seat four guests where you can catch up on the day's activities. Upstairs, you can catch some rest in the double room, or the master bedroom which is fitted with a gorgeous four-poster bed; each with plenty of storage for your belongings. Outside, make the most of the garden with breakfast alfresco, or an evening glass of wine under the stars. When it is time to venture out, the local village has plenty of pubs, restaurants, and shops to offer, as well as a brewery for the beer enthusiasts of your group. Be sure to visit the scenic Devil's Bridge and the Radical Steps during your visit! Heading out of the village, you can find wonderful days out for children and animal lovers at the Lakeland Wildlife Oasis or the Lakeland Maze Farm Park. Travel further into the Yorkshire Dales National Park to explore picture-perfect countryside and beautiful caves such as Ingleborough Cave and White Scar Cave, the UK's longest show cave. Further afield, take part in walking, cycling, hiking, watersports and simply take in the magnificence of the Lake District National Park, which is within easy reach by car. With so much to see and do, choose

Kirkby Lonsdale is a charming market town in the Lune Valley, between the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District. The town was recorded in 1086's Domesday Book and has a 13th-century Market Charter. Thursday is market day, giving visitors a chance to explore the town's independent businesses and 17th and 18th-century buildings. There are three golf courses nearby, as well as tennis, horseback, fishing, and riverfront and country walks. Kirkby Lonsdale was voted "Best Place to Live in the North West" by The Sunday Times for its "unbeatable Lake District location, bags of community spirit, and one of the cleanest high streets in the country."

The college itself was beautifully kept & in a fantastic location for all of the amenities on offer in Kirkby Lonsdale & the wider Lake District. We shall be looking to book this cottage again.

Car park pass for local and lakes carparks provided by owner was especially welcoming with carpark in Kirkby Lonsdale only a stones throw away. Beds very comfy although four poster rather overpowering for the size of the room. As was the dining table, smaller items would make the space work better if catering for more than two people as had to move table to access it. Lovely house and well looked after, had everything we needed and would recommend. Nice outside area too if the sun shines
