The property is described as comfortable and well-furnished. However, some guests experienced issues with hot water and a lack of hanging space, which detracted from the overall comfort.

The picturesque market town of Kirkby Lonsdale may be found in the Lune Valley, between the more well-known tourist destinations of the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. Domesday Book noted the town in 1086, while the town's Market Charter dates to the 13th century. These days, the town's market takes place every Thursday, giving guests a great chance to peruse the eclectic array of locally owned boutiques and the many preserved structures from the 17th and 18th centuries. Also in 2016, the city was a nominee for the High Street of the Year Award. Turner frequented this section of the Lune Valley, which was popularised by Ruskin and is still renowned for its beauty because to his "view." Overlooking the water is the historic Devil's Bridge, and the surrounding countryside is perfect for a drive, a bike ride, or even a horseback ride. This area is perfect for a getaway at any time of year, with three golf courses, tennis courts, horseback riding, fishing, and several riverfront and rural walks. According to The Sunday Times, Kirkby Lonsdale has "an incomparable Lake District setting, bags of community spirit, and one of the cleanest high streets," making it the "Best Place to Live in The North West" in 2019.

Following initial contact with Sykes and text messages from the owners the cleaner did drop off some clean bedding and towels but was unable to clean the apartment until late afternoon the following day. We spent the first evening purchasing cleaning products so that we could clean the bathroom, kitchen and dining area ourselves. We also wasted some considerable time in contact with Sykes, whose communications were and remain poor. This has only added to our frustration. We still await the compensation advised by the owners having been unable to make contact with Sykes in this regard.

The towel rails didnât come on during our stay and we had a battle with flies. The problem seemed to be with the upstairs narrow curtain and any blinds that hadnât been used. Every day we must have killed at least 20. Shaking the curtain and vacuuming underneath the top of the blinds seemed to work. We hope this is useful for the owners/cleaners.

Well maintained and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed our stay and would like to visit again in future. Feedback is only for outdoor furniture. Furniture in balcony is old and dangerous , coffee table was completely end of life and one of my friends was very close to getting hurt as he leaned on the table for coffee. I have a video for your reference if you need. Please change those because people could get hurt.
