This impressive two-storey property is set in a rural farm location and is ideal for a restful holiday for families or a group of friends who want to explore this delightful part of the Lake District and Cumbrian peninsula together. The pretty seaside town of Arnside is 2 miles away and Arnside Knott, also 2 miles, offers uninterrupted views of the Kent Estuary and Morecambe Bay. Locally you will find several nature reserves, RSPB Leighton Moss, and a diverse landscape of limestone pavements, ancient woodlands, rich mud flats, and charming wildflower meadows. Both Arnside and Silverdale have beaches for you to explore and enjoy, and within the entire National Landscape you will find plenty of places to eat and drink.
Through the front door, arrive at the wonderful modern lounge/kitchen/diner which is the hub of the house and offers a traditional Lakeland feel. The kitchen is equipped for all your needs along with an electric fire and surrounding seating with Smart TV to enjoy whilst eating at the dining table complete with bench and chairs. Onto the first floor, we have two levels with a twin bedroom and a double room on this level along with the family bathroom. The large master bedroom with a super king size bed is up a few more steps. This bedroom can be converted into a twin on request. There is also a Smart TV in this bedroom.
Within the courtyard you can sit out and dine, perhaps taking advantage of the charcoal fired BBQ provided to you. While here you will hear the sounds of birdsong and be able to watch nesting swallows dart about in the daytime sunshine. Seating is also available in The Orchard, which is a 2.5 acre fully enclosed and secure field that also contains a children’s outdoor play area and a grand, ground-set fire pit for sitting round in the evening toasting marshmallows or sharing stories with friends. This is also where dogs can be freely exercised.
