Guests say

Holmere Bank is a stunning and spacious property in Carnforth, highly praised for its impressive decor, comfortable beds, and excellent amenities such as a games room and cinema room. It's ideal for large family gatherings, offering a quiet location with easy access to local attractions. The property has received commendations for its warm atmosphere and thoughtful touches, although some minor points on maintenance and kitchen equipment have been noted.

The property generally maintains high standards of cleanliness, with only a few mentions of pet hairs and a dirty grill upon first use. These seem to be isolated incidents rather than a common trend.

The location is consistently praised for being quiet, easily accessible, and conveniently situated near both Yorkshire and Cumbria, with attractions and dining options within reach.

Guests find the property very comfortable, with special mentions of the comfortable beds and warm bedding. However, some noted that the inability to open bedroom windows affected their comfort on warm nights.

The facilities, including the games room, cinema room, and EV charging point, are well-received. Criticisms include a lack of kitchen equipment for large groups and the need for better outdoor lighting.

While the reviews reflect a positive experience with the property's amenities and the owner's responsiveness, there is no mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches that would warrant a score in this category.

Every question we required answering was sorted by the owner Ian. Our family would highly recommend

  • Alana

Location very good just off the motorway. Yealands village within easy walking distance and The New Inn serving a good Sunday lunch Although sufficient toilets and washing facilities with only 3 rooms en-suite difficulties did arise. Also we realised showers required to be staggered due to limited hot water but not a great trial. In conclusion a very pleasant accommodation and we had wonderful weekend and have no problem recommending property

Couldn’t have asked for better. One or two minor “issues” which Ian immediately attended to. Would definitely come back again. Strongly recommended.
