Guests have had a delightful experience at Hudson's Hideaway, praising its first-class accommodation, peaceful site, and lovely food at the restaurant. The lodge is noted for its spaciousness, modern amenities, and cleanliness. The owner's helpfulness and thoughtful welcome gifts have been appreciated, although these are not guaranteed. Some minor maintenance issues and a lack of detailed check-in information were mentioned, but overall, guests are highly satisfied and eager to return.
The lodge generally receives high marks for cleanliness, with many guests describing it as immaculate. However, a few guests noted instances of leftover rubbish, which slightly impacts the score.
While guests have mentioned the beauty of the surrounding area and the lodge's good location for exploring the Lakes, there is insufficient detail to accurately score the location.
Comfort is highly rated, with guests finding the beds comfy and the lodge cosy. Some guests mentioned creaking doors and a loud toilet seat lid, which slightly reduces the score.
Facilities like the pool, gym, and on-site restaurant are appreciated, but some guests were disappointed with the additional costs for swimming and the lack of certain kitchen items. Maintenance issues such as broken decking lights and WiFi problems have also been reported.
The owner's thoughtfulness is evident in the welcome packs provided to some guests, which were well-received. However, as these gifts are not guaranteed for every stay, the score reflects this.

Only 2 soup spoons between 4 of us. Also there was no casserole dishes or any sort of large dishes for cooking. Otherwise it was very comfortable. An excellent place to stay.
