This picture perfect cottage is the best spot to enjoy all that Arnside has to offer, with fabulous views of the sea, a train station close by and all shops, pubs and restaurants just a stone’s throw away, it is the perfect holiday cottage to leave your car behind and explore the area.
Its quirky layout means you can enjoy the late sun in the conservatory on the first floor, whilst on the ground floor there are separate dining, kitchen and living areas. The three bedrooms and family bathroom on the first floor offer a comfortable arrangement for families and friends alike.
Located in the village of Arnside, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there are plenty of scenic walks, cycling routes and even fishing nearby. Along the promenade there is an abundance of boutique shops, restaurants and pubs. Why not try their famous fish and chips?
Arnside is a perfect base from which to explore the surrounding areas of the South Lakes and Yorkshire Dales. Hop on the train to the next stop of Grange-over-sands, a charming Victorian seaside town with a range of shops and cafés. Stay on for a few more stops to the village of Cartmel, known as the ‘foodie capital’ of the South Lakes and famous for its sticky toffee pudding. Driving will take you just 30 minutes into Windermere and Bowness and over to the famous Ingleton Waterfalls in the Yorkshire Dales. Beach 100 yards. Shop and pub 100 yards, restaurant 120 yards. Pub within 1 mile.

We love staying at Underhill Cottage. Arnside is a lovely ☺️ place. The cottage has everything we need including a wonderful chippy just down the road. A local shop across the road and a couple of pubs nearby. The train station is just a few minutes walk away. We will be back there again soon.

Fantastic location with lots of local amenities. My wife was impressed with the conservatory and the mix of furniture. Very handy private parking in which is a very busy village.
