Guests say

Walkers Rest is a well-received lodge, praised for its cleanliness, comfort, and thoughtful touches like a welcome basket. The spacious accommodation is furnished to a high standard, catering to both adults and pets. While its proximity to the M6 is noted, many guests found it unobtrusive and appreciated the location as a base for exploring. On-site facilities and local dining options enhance the stay.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Guests consistently describe the lodge as clean and well-kept, with several reviews highlighting its spotlessness. The attention to cleanliness is evident throughout the property, contributing to a comfortable and inviting stay.

The location is generally seen as convenient for exploring the area, with easy access from the M6. However, some guests mentioned the motorway's noise as a downside. The proximity to local amenities and attractions balances the location's appeal.

Reviewers frequently commend the lodge for its comfort, mentioning comfortable beds, spacious rooms, and a cosy atmosphere. The property seems to cater well to relaxation and a sense of home away from home.

The lodge is praised for being well-equipped and offering a range of facilities, including on-site dining and leisure options. Some minor maintenance issues are noted, such as a slippery deck and a leaking tap, but these are not widespread concerns.

The thoughtful gestures, such as the welcome basket with essentials and treats, are well-received by guests. While these gifts add to the experience, it's important to note that such personal touches, although appreciated, may vary and are not guaranteed with every stay.

Could have done with 2 keys as there was 2 families staying, again wouldn't have been a problem if there was a different system to lift the barrier cos could have just left key in key safe .

Comfortable beds,dishwasher,2 bathrooms, each bedroom has a TV. The decking outside let the property down dangerous slippy and in need of some repair furniture is old and rusty. Dog poo at the steps in bags from previous letting. Maybe the cleaner could run the pans and cooking dishes in the dishwasher. The outside decking unfortunately would stop us from staying again
