Guests have had overwhelmingly positive experiences at Waterside Lodge, praising its peaceful setting, wildlife views, and the luxury of a large hot tub. The lodge's cleanliness and comfort are consistently highlighted, alongside the convenience of a well-equipped space and thoughtful touches like a selection of games and DVDs. The location is appreciated for its proximity to local amenities and the sea air of nearby beaches. While there was an isolated issue with a cleaning charge, this does not detract from the overall excellent impression of the lodge.
The lodge is generally described as very clean and well-maintained, with guests feeling comfortable upon arrival. One complaint about a cleaning charge following a stay suggests expectations for guest tidiness may not be clear, but this seems an exception rather than the rule.
The location is highly regarded for its tranquillity, views of a pond with wildlife, and accessibility to local facilities and beaches. The convenience of the setting contributes significantly to the guests' enjoyment.
Guests find the lodge very comfortable, with special mentions of a homely feel, an en-suite bathroom, and outdoor seating. The presence of a hot tub adds to the overall comfort and luxury of the stay.
Facilities like the swimming pool, gym, and restaurant are available for a fee and are well-received. The lodge itself is equipped with games and DVDs, enhancing the stay. However, the lack of included pool access and the need for clearer information on local transport slightly affect the score.
While the reviews mention the provision of games, DVDs, and a helpful manual with local information, there is no mention of gifts. Therefore, it is not possible to score this category based on the provided information.

Cobwebs everywhere, freezer door ajar and completely frosted up with old ice creams in, spent first 90 minutes of holiday defrosting it. Oven doesnât work as you canât control the gas setting, stains all over the mattress topper in main bedroom, filthy cushions. Property owner doesnât care and took forever to respond to issues raised. Offered a derisory £30 as compensation and said they will have to pay the cleaner extra because we hadnât vacated the lodge by the 10am checkout time. Donât waste your money visiting this lodge

The location was beautiful with a great view of the pond. Couldn't ask for anything more.

The lodge was very comfortable and clean and overlooked a pond with plenty of wildlife.Despite the dodgy weather we managed to use the hot tub which was very nice. The restaurant/pub is literally across the road and does an excellent breakfast.Onsite there is a swimming pool and gym which can be used for a small fee.Overall our stay at the Waterside lodge was excellent and relaxing and we will definitely be rebooking to stay here again.
