Guests say

Clougha View offers a peaceful countryside retreat with spectacular views, especially over Morecambe Bay. Guests consistently praise the cottage’s cleanliness, comfort, and well-equipped kitchen, making it ideal for walkers and those seeking relaxation. The location is perfect for exploring Lancaster, the Forest of Bowland, and nearby attractions. While the setting is tranquil and isolated, a few guests noted occasional noise from farm dogs. Overall, the property is highly recommended for its scenery, comfort, and welcoming atmosphere.

Guests repeatedly mention the cottage being spotlessly clean and tidy, with no negative comments about cleanliness.

The location is widely praised for its stunning views, peaceful setting, and proximity to walks, Lancaster, and the coast. Some mention the need for a car due to its rural position.

Reviews highlight the cottage as comfortable, warm, and cosy, with comfortable beds and a relaxing atmosphere. A few guests mentioned noise from dogs, but this did not significantly detract from overall comfort.

The cottage is described as well-equipped, especially the kitchen, and has everything needed for a self-catering stay. The only minor drawback is the distance to shops, but this was not seen as a major issue.

There are no specific mentions of gifts or extra thoughtful touches from the host in the reviews, so a score cannot be provided.

Beautiful stay, met our needs, great location for us. Dogs barking a bit, but didn't really bother us. Amazing view from courtyard.

Beautiful views. Lancaster close by for supermarket etc. Attractions suitable for kids not too far away. Had everything we needed to self-cater easily. Host very friendly and flexible to our needs too. Thank you for a lovely stay.
