Resting in an isolated position, encompassed by vast countryside and breath-taking views from all angles in the pretty village of Foulridge, Lancashire lies Moorlands Manor. This fabulous house boasts a few spare acres of grounds to explore and one of the largest outdoor Vitality Spa's in Britain, seating 18 guests, while being within easy reach of local amenities and the glorious Yorkshire Dales National Park. Fitted with timeless furnishings and quality finishing touches from top to bottom, this property is ideal for a family or group of friends, for both staying in and going out. Stepping into the property, the grand hallway greets you, boasting an exquisite staircase and quintessential cornice features throughout; gaze up at and find a beautiful skylight, allowing an abundance of light into the space. After acquainting yourself with the property, spend some family time in the sitting room; the spacious lounge offers plush seating and a woodburning stove which you can look forward to snuggling up on. Double doors open the space or close it off to provide two separate living areas; each side of the room follows the grand décor running through the house and the space is finished off with a flawless grand piano for your entertainment. Escape to the snug and indulge in a good book and a cup of tea while another woodburning stove gently warms the space around you. From here, the chef of the group will be delighted to find a fantastic kitchen, equipped with everything you need to rustle up delicious meals for your group, as well as another amply-equipped kitchen located in the Coach House. Make your way into the dining room and gather the group for dinner; the dining room hosts a large banqueting table fit for a feast, and a beautiful feature fireplace adding to the charm of the property. From here, let your competitive side out in the games room, where you will find a pool table, arcade machine and table football, an arcade driving console, and an air hockey table, perfect for keeping you entertained throughout your stay. Enjoy an evening in the cinema room where you can kick back and watch film after film in the inviting, luxury cinema seats. When sleep calls venture off to the bedrooms for some well-earned rest ahead of another adventurous day. The ground floor in the Coach House, hosts a family room with three single beds, a pull-out bed, and an en-suite shower room, along with a super-king-size bedroom with an en-suite wet room. Back in the main house, the first floor offers two super-king-size bedrooms with TVs, sofa beds and en-suite bathrooms; the first is home to a stylish freestanding bath, and the second, a relaxing jacuzzi bath you can look forward to unwinding in after a day of exploring. Also, on the first floor is four more king-size bedrooms, and back in the Coach House, you will find a super-king-size bedroom with a zip and link feature, and a final family bedroom with a king-size, a sofa bed and an en-suite shower room, meaning there are ample sleeping quarters for your group to rest their eyes. Completing the interior of the property is a family bathroom fit with a bath, a shower over, a basin and a WC, as well as two cloakrooms, one of which is conveniently located on the ground floor. The real gem of this property is the outdoor space which boasts unspoilt views of the surrounding countryside and for something quite different, how does the idea of hiring a helicopter for your special celebration sound, the helicopter can be booked with prior notice and you can land and take off from the helipad in the gardens of the property so nice and convenient. Take advantage of the Vitality Spa, perfect for soaking your muscles any time of year, while scattered across the extensive grounds you will also find a sauna, a delightful summer house, a bubbling hot tub, and plenty of furniture so you can take your dining al fresco. As the sun goes down, head to the garden room and savour your glass of wine while protected from the elements; the space offers the ideal escape from the group where you can enjoy some quality time amongst nature. When you don't feel like cooking, the owners of the property will be happy to provide you with a chef or caterer by prior arrangement; why not treat your group to a mouth-watering meal in the comfort of your home away from home.

If you can tear yourself away from this exceptional holiday accommodation, venture into the centre of Foulridge, where you will be delighted to find a wealth of amenities, including great places to eat and drink, as well as for picking up the essentials. Perfect for a multi-generational family get together, the games room, cinema and huge hot tub were a particular hit with everyone. We are already planning our return! Thank you so much for a really wonderful stay.

There is something for everyone. The house is furnished to a very high standard. The robes provided to use to get in and out of the pool were much appreciated. The pool was amazing. It keeps its heat when in use. The gardens are large and very well maintained. Would love to stay again.

It was immaculate. The premises were incredible and everything was catered for. We stayed as a large family ranging from 18months - 68 years. The owner and house keeper were pleasant and helpful. It was warm, cosy and just a completely fantastic stay. I don't think the pictures do it justice, even though they are incredible. I would recommend in a flash.
