Visitors can enjoy the sight of resident owls frequently flying past the lodge at dusk. For bird enthusiasts, a twenty-minute walk leads to Pilling Sands, a renowned bird-watching haven. During winter, the area becomes a spectacle with thousands of Pink Foot geese and Hooper swans coming to feed, offering a unique and mesmerizing experience.
