Stay at this converted barn in Pilling, near Blackpool, for a cosy location on a working farm where you can greet cows, pigs and goats each day. The inside is roomy and there's plenty of outdoor space, including a shared play area for children and a private garden. This traditional cottage sleeps up to 10 people over five bedrooms – perfect for if you're celebrating a family birthday or attending a wedding in Lancaster, Morecambe or Blackpool. Five dogs are also most welcome to come along – they'll love the rural location as much as you do. During your stay, take scenic walks right from right outside your front door and access two Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty 12 and 20 miles away. The sea is a mere 1.5 miles away.
The inside of the cottage has a traditional feel, with original features such as wooden beams which add to its character. Extra touches such as underfloor heating and a soak-ready roll-top bath make it feel extra homely. The open-plan kitchen/lounge/diner has a large wooden table where you can all enjoy evening meals together. There's also an area with sofas for relaxing, as well as plenty of floor space so the children can spend time together nearby while the adults chat or play cards at the dinner table. A separate lounge has a wood burner where you can keep cosy on chilly evenings – here you'll find a Smart TV/DVD player where you can watch films together in the evenings. Outside, take the whole family on a tour of the working farm and make friends with sheep, horses and hens living alongside you.
