Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. The Granary is a converted barn accommodating up to four guests and benefits from two large double bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms! You enter the property into a bright, open plan ground floor, which briefly comprises a large, fully-fitted kitchen with everything you might need to prepare those home cooked meals (or why not try a variety of local cuisines nearby?). Wander through to find a cosy open plan living/dining area with a feature wood burner and double doors leading to the front garden, where you can take in the gorgeous views and enjoy a bistro breakfast in the garden whilst planning your day’s activities.
Wander upstairs where you can choose from two large double bedrooms, both with unique en-suite bathrooms. Externally the property is situated down a quiet lane overlooking rolling countryside, with an allocated area with outside furniture.
Resting in the tranquil village of Bilsborrow in Lancashire, with a range of shops, cafés, and pubs within a short distance. Being only 15 minutes from motorway junction 32 you’re never too far from an adventurous holiday. Only 1 mile away you’ll find Barton Grange’s Flower Bowl, including a cinema, curling, crazy golf and bowling. Nearby there is also Myerscough College and Lancaster university, ideal if you have a family member attending. A little bit further and you’ll be met by the market town of Garstang which is within 3 miles from the property, or Blackpool being only a 30 minute’s away. The Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, Lancaster, Manchester and Liverpool are all within an hour from the property for those wanting to explore further afield. For those wanting to explore a more natural feel of the area, walks along the Brock Valley, Lancaster canal and Beacon Fell are all on the doorstep of the property. No matter how you wish to spend your holiday, a warm welcome will always await you at The Granary.

A very spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable cottage in a lovely setting looking out onto open countryside. Very quiet and relaxing although on a working farm. In an excellent position for exploring the local area. Would highly recommend The Granary.

Beautiful cottage in a wonderful rural setting. Rooms are all a good size with very good quality fixtures and fittings. Beds are very comfortable, lounge has ample seating for 4 people. Well equipped kitchen. Owner on-site, who gave us a very warm welcome, also had provided home made biscuits and milk. Tea/coffee/sugar in caddies too.
