A lovely cottage in a really lovely pretty village. The cottage was very well equipped and had provisions in the larder which was a nice touch. The cake and eggs of arrival were also very welcome. Owners were friendly but not intrusive. Overall a lovely stay

The old thatched cottage was well equipped and full of character. The galley kitchen, main lounge area and the ground floor bathroom with shower were all excellent. The main ground floor bedroom was also of good proportions. The second bedroom however was not only accessed via a steep staircase it had restricted headroom and was really only suitable for children. Fortunately my fiancee is of modest height and did not find the limited proportions of the room too problematic. The furniture in the lounge was comfortable and having a dining area under the first floor bedroom was a pleasant feature. The on site parking area was adequate and secure behind a gate. The rating of good rather than excellent is because of the proximity to John Lennon airport which meant that we did experence noise from low flying planes passing over at different hours of the day and night. Also the range of glasses available did not include basic breakfast juice glasses.
