The property has outstanding views over the Cheshire countryside to the coast and also offers a stable and a large parking area. Situated in the countryside offering the benefit of a quiet and relaxing holiday, yet only 5 miles from Cheshire Oaks designer outlet village and the Blue Planet Aquarium. Transport links are excellent with Chester being only 8 miles away with its famous Rows, cathedral and world-renowned zoo. Manchester and Liverpool just 30 minutes away. All can be reached by train with a regular service available from Helsby Station, which is just over a mile from the property. Golf and windsurfing available nearby, whilst Delamere Forest is just 10 minutes away and home to walking, cycling and Segway trails, Go Ape, horse riding and Forest Live concerts. Shops 1 mile, pub with good food and real ale 300 yards.

Lovely accommodation with a country feel. Good local amenities with a supermarket in Helsby only 5 minutes drive away. Also meals at the White Lion pub in Alvanley just a couple of minutes away were great. It was a perfect base for us for a few days whilst visiting the area for a family wedding.Would definitely look to stay again.

Lovely spacious and generally well-equipped accommodation - only downsides were: the beds a double made of two singles which did not match in height... perhaps leave as two singles...No freezer.A cupboard to hold groceries would have been nice - had to leave them all on the counter.A great base. Happy to return.
