Please note, the Kielder Marathon Event will be taking place on 12th & 13th October 2019. As a result there will be limited movement around site for vehicles, and restricted access in some areas. The lakeside way will be closed during the event and there will be limited activities running during this weekend. The restaurant will be open as normal, however will be very busy during this period.

Lovely weekend away, with great activities

The chalet/lodge we stayed in was well equipped, roomy, clean and comfortably. It did look a little tired, but this didn’t detract from our enjoyment of the place. The “main” (Double) Bedroom was a little on the small side, but we have stayed in smaller. The other 2 bedrooms were very spacious. All it meant was that my wife and I took turns getting dressed in the morning.

It's at the top of a hill so had great views hot tub was at the side of property but could do with a cover over it to make it better to use in autumn and winter other than that was great
