This secluded one-bedroom shepherd''s hut is located on the edge of the Peak District. Situated between Langsett and Penistone, it''s a romantic choice for a couple wanting seclusion, long walks in nature, and a private wood-fired hot tub.
Green-coloured doors extend a warm welcome and inside, you''ll find everything you need for a comfortable stay. Leave muddy boots in the outside boot box, then pour a drink and chat with your loved ones as you prepare a meal in the neat kitchen. Dine at the intimate table or step outside and eat alfresco overlooking the delightful countryside views. Back inside, natural finishes and plenty of light create a peaceful atmosphere but as night falls, cosy up in front of the wood burner with a film on the TV. As the day draws to an end, retire to the comfortable king-size bed and be lulled to sleep by the sound of nature. Outside, enjoy breakfast while listening to the birdsong in the trees, or relax in the wood-fired hot tub while gazing at the landscape. On chillier days, light the fire pit and warm yourself under the comfortable throws.
Discover rural walks straight from the door or explore the Peak District with its rugged landscape and lush pastureland. For adventurous hiking, head to Holme Moss Summit (13 miles), or for a more leisurely pace, pack a picnic and enjoy the beautiful views at Langsett Reservoir. For pubs and restaurants, journey to the picturesque town of Holmfirth (9 miles).
