It was very comfortable (great mattress), had a great shower (in fact the whole bathroom, including the large towels, was wonderful) and everything you could need in the kitchen. Great location to explore the Peak District and plenty of lovely places in the town to eat and drink. The apartment is right next to the main road through the town but isn't noisy with the bedroom at the back. Lots of attention to detail and the chocolates and wine left by the owners was a wonderful touch - thank you!

We would not describe the apparent as luxury, this was how it was advertised. Furniture was of good quality but it was basic. No books or games to keep us amused when it rained, only one bottle of antibacterial cleaner, no hoover, no toilet cleaner, very poor quality loo roll and kitchen roll, thin towels and a very uncomfortable mattress, kept rolling into a dip in the middle. It was very noisy, constant heavy lorries going past from very early in the morning and loud music from the bars in the market square, these problems easily solved by double glazing, not exactly relaxing. Handy location and good parking was the one plus point.
