Can’t moan about the Peak District. We’ve been to other Darwin escapes sites and have had great holidays. Not in a hurry to return!

The lodge itself was fantastic, in really good condition. Modern, clean, spacious And the hot tub was amazingA few really very minor niggles - .The kitchen knives are awful. Really blunt and flimsy and actually quite dangerous to use. These need replacing. .We stayed in a lodge that sleeps 8 and found the frying pan too small to cook enough food to feed everyone. No biggie, we just cooked in batches. .The oven gloves needed replacing and a fruit bowl would have been useful. But as above these are very minor points, and would not stop us coming back
