We absolutely had the most amazing time staying at the Farmhouse in August! There were 10 of us, 6 adults and 4 children and we couldn’t have asked for a better home to stay in or a better location! The Farmhouse is lovely and spacious, really cosy and the owners have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. The beds were 10/10 and we all slept so well! The kitchen was the heart of the home and we loved spending our time in there eating and playing games. We loved the use of the swimming pool and the games room where countless hours were spent playing pool and table tennis! The large garden is a wonderful area to play football and other games and there is a play park too for children which we thought was great. Everyone we spoke to were so friendly and we honestly can’t wait to come back soon! There is no other place we would stay now when we come for our family holidays in the beautiful Peak District! Thank you for having us, we will be back without a doubt!!

Large, spacious and well equipped. Bedrooms large and bedding clean, large bathroom and 2 shower rooms. Kitchen very well equipped to cook and serve family of 10. Loads of crockery and 2 dishwashers. Plenty of large pans and oven dishes. Large playing field for children (and adults) to play football and a small well equipped play area for young ones to climb, swing, slide etc. On the downside, the laundry room was small and usually being used by staff to wash bedding, towels etc, so we struggled to dry swimming stuff, which we were not allowed to put on a line to dry in the garden. We did find an airer to put in the kitchen. Would have been great to have own washing machine and tumble dryer in such a large accommodation. Swimming pool was great, but obviously crowded at times.
