Very well appointed, and comfortable. The wine and cookies was a nice touch. Thank you for the flexibility in the checkout time as well.. A basic shampoo (or a comment to bring one) would help, as would a second small toilet. Overall - the location, the thoughtfully appointed place - everything was great! We would come back again - highly recommended!

A lovely warm comfy base to come home to on a cold winters afternoon. Visited Chatsworth for the Christmas decorations in the house and the lights in the garden it was fantastic. Haddon hall was another great afternoon out as well got us all in the Christmas spirit. Would love to visit again as we love Bakewell Thank you to the owners for the lovely welcome goodies.

Even extra essential food supplies left, milk, bread , butter tea , coffee , milk & wine ! Which was a lovely bonus. Good size lounge, dinning room/ table , utility room , kitchen, bathroom and very comfortable beds. Our only difficulty was the bedrooms on the front are quite noisy early hours from the traffic on the road and church bells . Otherwise perfect cottage , we had a lovely stay & felt very supported by the hosts.
