The cottage was really comfortable well equipped and clean. Your just a short stroll into bakewell town center and there are excellent bus links to local towns like Matlock, buxton. A visit to thornbridge brewery is a must, again just a short walk. Just be aware the steps to the rear of the cottage are steep and there's a few of them. Looking forward to staying again. Thank you Nicola and Keith.

There were four of us, my wife and myself and our daughter and son in law. The cottage was an ideal base for exploring the area. A short walk into Bakewell centre, and easy access to further exploration. We found the cottage comfortable, clean and well maintained. We were lucky to have great weather, and enjoyed eating outside, and watching the sun go down from the sun room. The beds were very comfortable, although maybe some lighter duvets would be useful in warm weather, but the electric fans provided were very welcome. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Nestling, it's a lovely little retreat while still being close to local amenities.
