Great cottage in a great location. Used as a base for local attractions. Two comfortable bedrooms and surprisingly cool front sitting room, which was very welcome in a heat wave. Limited TV reception and no Wifi may be a problem for some, but not if like us we wanted to be less digitally involved.

Lovely 200+years old cottage, in a perfect location in the heart of the village of Youlgrave. Amazing views, and close to all the places you could wish to visit in the Peaks. I have given five stars for everything, because we had no expectations other than to have a lovely holiday, which we did, and the cottage helped make that possible. Everything is clean, the kitchen is well equipped, the beds are comfy, and the sitting room is a cool and cozy area to relax in an evening after long days spent out in the heat. Will definitely visit again.

A very clean cottage in a good village location near Bakewell. An ideal base to explore the Peak District. Enjoyed my stay at the cottage and would stay again.
