Who could ask for a better location for your holiday than in the market town of Bakewell, famous for its Bakewell Pudding which can be found in many of the local shops. With each of the five bedrooms offering en-suite facilities, and two of which benefit from being on the ground floor, this fantastic property is ideal for less mobile guests. The large inviting living room can be found on the ground floor, as well as the well-equipped kitchen with all you need to cook up a tasty family meal. The property also benefits from having its own games room, complete with a pool table and 7 foot table tennis top which can be placed on top of the pool table to convert it into table tennis, perfect for children and adults alike. Outside there is a large patio with garden furniture, ideal for dining al fresco.
Ideally situated opposite the Bakewell recreation ground, the property is perfect for families. Bakewell is a popular market town in the heart of Derbyshire, offering a wide selection of shops, restaurants and pubs, and even a local farmers market where you can buy locally sourced produce. Chatsworth House and Estate and Haddon Hall can both be found nearby, and make a wonderful day for everyone to enjoy. The Monsal Trail is also close by and is ideal for walking, cycling and horse riding, and starts in Bakewell and will take you to the outskirts of Buxton. The beautiful Hope Valley in Matlock, has cable cars which will take you to the Heights of Abraham. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

Wyedale is situated in a perfect (easy to walk) location for Bakewell town centre and not too near so no trouble with noisy. The accommodation its self couldn't be faulted. The house was clean and fresh feeling. Plenty of seating in the lounge and kitchen for all the guests at once. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. Full range of cutlery, glasses, crockery and cooking equipment.

Second year using this property for our base in the peaks.Couldn’t be more perfect.5min walk into Bakewell.Park for walking dogs and picnic opposite.Ground floor room for disabled Grandad.Really central to reach all parts of the peaks.Just a small observation which might help future families -we needed a larger black bin for ten people I think the council can provide.Thank you to the owners pretty near perfect.
