They layout worked really well as reach family could have their own floor and it could be shut off. Have a place with so much room made having everyone together so much easier. The property is well stocked and had everything we needed – except maybe a hairdryer!

With a mix of adults and children (four families) we loved the two separate socialising spaces and how little sound travelled around the house too. I was so impressed with the contact we had beforehand to ensure the beds were made up correctly for our group. We loved the fact that we could walk to coffee shops, shops, Matlock Bath etc. etc. It gave the flexibility for the older teens to head off and be independent when they wanted to. We got one car on the front paved area, then one on the white line blocking the house drive. We found close on street parking quite easily for the other two cars. I like a firm mattress and found our double mattress was a little tired and soft. That may just be personal preference though! (No one else in the party commented on their beds so I guess they were fine.) Thank you for providing a great 'home' for our family Christmas.
