Daisy Cottage in the Peak District & Derbyshire Dales is a well-received holiday rental, praised for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and prime location for local attractions. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, the provision of children's toys, and the welcoming touches such as milk and biscuits. While some guests mention issues with parking and comfort, the overall sentiment is positive, with many looking forward to future stays.
The majority of guests found Daisy Cottage to be spotlessly clean, with several reviews highlighting its cleanliness. However, a few guests mentioned issues with damp and mould, which slightly affects the overall score.
The location is highly praised for being central, perfect for local attractions, and within easy reach of the national park and nearby villages. The proximity to a local pub and shop adds to the convenience, making the location ideal for many guests.
While many guests found the cottage comfortable and cosy, there were several complaints about uncomfortable beds and sofas. The presence of a sofa bed that was deemed too small for the number of guests also impacted the comfort score.
The cottage is generally well-equipped, especially for families with children, and guests appreciated the baby pack and toys. However, some guests noted the lack of a washing machine and issues with maintenance such as broken window catches and a lack of bathroom soap, which suggests room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.
Guests frequently mentioned and appreciated the thoughtful touches like welcome gifts of milk, biscuits, and sometimes wine or beer. It's important to note that such gifts, while appreciated, are not guaranteed for every stay.

Quiet location but very easy access to the village and its well stocked community shop. Great walks from the door. Spacious and well appointed. Only improvements would be better pillows on the bunk beds and also a bath mat . Thankyou
David
It was attractively decorated and retained its character. The only issue we had was with the parking. We found parking at the cottage very tight. We parked on Main Street which was not a problem.

The only improvement would be a washing machine but not a major issue. The property was clean and tidy. The toy cupboard was extremely useful, keeping our 3 year old granddaughter occupied. Would definitely visit again and happy to give it a top class rating.
