Guests have had a delightful experience at the Matlock Maisonette, praising its cleanliness, warm atmosphere, and thoughtful touches. The property boasts a well-equipped kitchen, cosy decor, and a terrace with stunning views. The host, Rachel, is commended for her helpfulness. While parking can be challenging due to a steep hill, the location is convenient for exploring Matlock and enjoying local pubs.
Reviewers consistently mention the property being 'super clean' and 'spotlessly clean', indicating a high standard of cleanliness.
The property is appreciated for its proximity to the town centre and local pubs, though the steep hill and parking are noted as potential challenges for some guests.
The maisonette is described as spacious and comfortable, with a special mention of a king size bed. However, there is a mention of noisy bed springs, which suggests a slight discomfort for some guests.
While the property is well-equipped and guests are satisfied with the kitchen and bathrooms, there are concerns about the sturdiness of wall fittings, which prevents a definitive score in this category.
Guests appreciate the 'lovely touch' of fairy lights and small welcome gifts. However, it should be noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and may not be guaranteed for every stay.

A few points. The king size bed has very noisy springs! The fittings on walls don't seem to be very good. I was constantly worried about things falling off. Just little things that would help get your feedback to 100%. Otherwise, a great stay, extremely pleasant. The little extras, like lighting and the goodies you left for us, all helped to make it a great time. Keep up the good work, and thank you.

We are 5 friends who get together every year. and the maisonette was perfect for us. It was spacious, had 2 bathrooms and a toilet, and it was spotlessly clean. It also had everyhing we needed in terms of kitchen equipment, as well as tea, coffee, milk in the fridge as well as some other items which made life really easy. The small bottles of wine and a packet of brioches were a lovely touch too. In terms of location, it was great as it was just a short walk down the hill to the centre of Matlock, but close to a couple of small craft ale pubs which we really enjoyed. Rachel's instructions were very clear and we had no problems with access or anything to do with the mainsonette itself. Although there was limited parking outside, it was easy enough to park on nearby streets. This was a really great place to stay and we would highly recommend it to others.
