The Bottling Shed in Matlock is a well-received cottage offering a peaceful countryside experience with the added luxury of a hot tub. Guests have praised its cleanliness, comfortable furnishings, and stunning views. The secluded yet convenient location is appreciated, as well as the property's cosy and homely feel. While some minor maintenance issues were noted, the overall sentiment is highly positive, with many guests looking forward to returning.
Guests consistently describe the cottage as immaculate and super clean, indicating high standards of cleanliness. However, one mention of a stained mattress suggests room for improvement.
The location is celebrated for its seclusion, privacy, and proximity to local amenities in Matlock. The peaceful setting and easy access to shops and restaurants contribute to its high rating.
The property is frequently described as comfortable with a cosy atmosphere and a comfy bed. However, suggestions for a larger bed and the need for better drying facilities for towels indicate some areas could be enhanced.
The hot tub is a highlight for many guests, with additional praise for the property's well-equipped nature. Nonetheless, comments about slippery shower trays, lack of hot tub towels, and the need for outdoor drying options suggest some facilities could be better maintained or provided.
There are no specific mentions of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness from the hosts. Therefore, this category cannot be scored.
