It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The owners had left a fab welcome basket as well which we enjoyed. The kids enjoyed seeing the horse and the chickens in the field and there are great views from the lounge and patio. Being only a short walk from the High Peak Trail was great and good if you donât want to drive everyday.

It's well kitted out and in great condition. Living and kitchen space easily accommodate 8 people. Just be aware it's down a very steep track that you can't get a car down so you'll need to be prepared to carry your stuff a short way, and the outdoor space is limited (with the local cockerels making their presence known!)

The furnishings were all of a high standard as was all the crockery, equipment etc in the kitchen in fact the cottage contained everything you could ask for. We had a wonderful stay.
