It’s ideally positioned for the Peaks and walking however as we were there visiting family didn’t do this. We were not too far from Manchester or other small towns in that area. Hot tub was a great asset and kids enjoyed it immensely! My dog loved the cottage too and made herself at home very quickly!

A few niggly things really do need addressing such as the wobbly toilet seat and the tap in the bathroom was really hard to turn on and off. I also would of really liked local walk suggestions and not just tourist leaflets on the usual trail paths. The Italian restaurant down the road that offers takeaways was marvellous. The hot tub is also a must although not the most private.

Looked exactly as it did on the photos and the description. Immaculately clean upon arrival and so homely and cozy. The location was fantastic for the type of get away we were after which was walking and hiking as we brought our dog along. Close to local amenities, and overall was a brilliant stay. Loved every minute !
