Guests appreciate the beautiful garden, stunning views, and the property's proximity to local attractions and walks. The thoughtful touches, such as a welcoming cake and milk, contribute to a homely feel. While some minor issues are mentioned, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing a desire to return.
Guests consistently note the property's cleanliness, with remarks on the tidy and well-maintained condition upon arrival. One review mentions a need for a deep clean, but this appears to be an isolated opinion.
The location is frequently highlighted as excellent, with its proximity to the Peak District and local amenities in Glossop. The views and peaceful setting are also appreciated, although a few guests noted the presence of nearby properties.
Comfort is a strong point, with numerous mentions of comfortable beds and a cosy living space. However, some guests found the twin beds hard and the second bedroom a bit cramped.
The property is praised for being well-equipped, especially the kitchen. The presence of a log burner, Wi-Fi, and entertainment options are positives. Some guests pointed out issues with parking, a small fridge, and a lack of a fire guard, suggesting room for improvement in maintenance.
Many reviews express gratitude for thoughtful gestures such as cake and milk on arrival. While these gifts are warmly received, it is important to note that such personal touches, although common, are not guaranteed for every stay.
