Moving upstairs to the first floor, you’ll discover a lovely double bedroom that exudes a peaceful atmosphere. This is a really lovely place to stay. The property is immaculate and is spotless throughout. It is situated on the outskirts of Glossop but is only a short drive into the town for access to shops, pubs and restaurants as well as a number of really good coffee shops. There are a number of really good walks only a short distance away and there are numerous other walks in the beautiful Peak District just a few miles drive away. Mike, the owner met me at the premises to hand over the keys to me and give me a really comprehensive run down of everything I needed to know. The premises has everything you could need including TV, washing machine and dryer, dishwasher, fridge and freezer and an excellent oven and hob. I had a really relaxing and quiet stay and would highly recommend Pennies Retreat.
