We had a fabulous stay in this cottage. We found it very comfortable, it had everything we needed and it’s in a great location. Several good pubs, a couple of small shops and great hikes right from your doorstep.Tips. Take ear plugs. Some visitors had complained about creaky floorboards and this is true but just part of the character. Take slippers for the cold stone floors downstairs. Take extra wood for the fire as it’s is expensive in the village.Only negative is check in and out times. In general with cottage holidays the times amended due to covid recommendations. It’s about time they all changed back. This is not exclusive to this property but 5pm in and 9am out is the worst we have experienced.

We really enjoyed our stay but what would have been helpful was some info in the welcome pack to let people know where extra logs could be bought. We ended up driving a fair distance on the Saturday morning.
