Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking. . Shippon Cottage offers cosy accommodation for up to six guests and boasts original character. This cottage offers a sociable, open-plan space on the ground floor featuring the living room with comfortable seating, TV and a wood burner, a dining area which can extend to seat up to 12 guests, and a fully equipped kitchen. On the first floor is the master bedroom with dressing room and en-suite, a further double bedroom and a twin room, plus a family bathroom. Outside there is ample parking for the guests and a private front garden which is lawned, with wooden furniture and a barbecue.

Brosterfield Farm is located within a great area, local to many walks and tourist attractions.

Visit the market town of Bakewell, famous for its puddings, and if you go to the museum in town you can learn about the Bakewell elephant!

Buxton is also a popular town, better known for its spa and opera house.

The stately home of Chatsworth House, built in the 17th and early 18th centuries has been home to the Devonshire family for over 400 years. In addition to the house, there are 105 acres of gardens to explore and an amazing cascade waterfall and fountain.

Haddon Hall is like stepping back in time with over 900 years of history. It has been the backdrop for several TV programmes and films including Jane Eyre, The Princess Bride, Elizabeth, Pride and Prejudice and The Other Boleyn Girl.

The Peak District has more to offer including the show caves at Castleton and the Blue John mines. Matlock and Matlock Bath are also worth a visit as is a trip on the cable car to the Heights of Abraham.
