The house is bigger than it looks in the photos. All the rooms are a good size. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. There is a lovely garden center at the bottom of the road. We walked along the river to Hathersage for lunch. A day spent at Thornbridge Hall and gardens was a great day out. Plenty to see and do in the area. Would definitely go back again.

We enjoyed our visit. Only bathroom door not locking and light bulb in sitting room lamp not working. Crockery difficult to reach in corner cupboard and no catch up tv. Very minor issues, otherwise very good, thanks
Helen
In actual fact it is 3 double bedrooms, one with 2 single beds. It still sleeps 6, but some parties may want 4 bedrooms which you description suggests. A lovely house, comfortable, clean, well furnished and all white goods in excellent condition. Instructions for all the equipment is provided by the owner Lovely views and walks from the house but after wet weather these can be muddy. Good supply of crockery, cutlery and cooking pots/pans. Easy walk to the petrol station that has a well supplied shop and to the train station. Bus stop at bottom of Shatton Lane goes to Castleton and Sheffield. Bus from Bamford interchange goes to Bakewell and Sheffield. We travelled by public transport totally (no car) and found it quite possible apart from the steep short climb pull up to house with cases!
