Marsden is a beautiful village in West Yorkshire's Colne Valley. The only professional theatre group that tours by narrowboat is located in Marsden, a former mill village that is characterised by magnificent stone buildings, breath-taking scenery, and a lovely canal. Marsden, a community that has been featured in the television programmes "Last of the Summer Wine" and "The League of Gentlemen," boasts award-winning restaurants, historic pubs, and a Marsden Moor that is held by the National Trust. The Marsden Jazz Festival, which takes place in October, is only one of the many festivals and events conducted in the hamlet throughout the year. In 2010, Marsden received the Walkers are Welcome designation for its popularity among walkers. If you enjoy the outdoors, the community is a short drive from the Peak District National Park and is worth a visit. A quick journey will take you to the lovely city of Huddersfield. It will also take you to Manchester, which offers a different and busier experience that is great for shopping.

Found the property to be an excellent base for a comfortable and relaxing break all the facilities in flat were first class and spotlessly clean ,,the only criticism I would have is you should put some padding / protection on both sides of the low beam in the living area as I repeatedly cracked my head off it when getting up from the couch,,,,apart from bruised head I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, cheers
