Lodge was definitely in need of deep clean, dirty mugs and crockery in the cupboard. Lots of hair left on the shower and bathroom sink. Toiletires left from a previous guest and hair on the dresing table area in the master bedroom. Clear to see that only the main area of the floors had been cleaned too, as bits and dirt was all around the edge of the floor. More subtle lighting required too, only one lamp provided in one of the bedrooms so had to move that around. No placemats for the dining table and only two coasters but was a lodge for 6 people. Dining table only seats 4 too.No towels provided and that isn't detailed with Hoseasons either, when it usually is. Thankfully we always take our own. Hand towels in the bathroom & ensuite were provided though. Could also do with a mop and hoover, especially when coming back with muddy feet. Only a dustpan and brush provided. Washing up liquid and a kitchen tea towel provided.
